Assemble Your Birdfy Feeder Bamboo A Pro

  1. Screw the antenna onto the camera.
  2. Rotate the L-shaped locks to release and remove the metal seed guard.
  3. Open the front cover to access the internal camera bay.
  4. Connect the solar panel cable to the camera, then place the camera inside the bay.
  5. Close the front cover, put back the metal seed guard and rotate the locks to secure it.
  6. Optional: If you would like larger perching space for the birds, you could position the extension perch onto the original perch.
  7. Secure the extension perch by screwing it in place.

Mount Your Birdfy Feeder Bamboo A Pro on a Wall

  1. Use the provided drill template to mark the locations of the holes, then use an electric drill (15/64", 6mm) to drill four holes.
  2. Drive the provided plastic anchors into the holes. Skip this step if you are mounting on wood. Next, fasten the hanging bracket on the wall using the screws.
  3. Align the mounting bracket on the back of the bird feeder with the hanging bracket, then hang the feeder securely on the wall.

Mount Your Birdfy Feeder Bamboo A Pro on a Tree

  1. Slide the provided strap through the slots of the hanging bracket.
  2. Wrap the strap around a tree trunk and fasten it by threading the end of the strap through the buckle. Make sure the lever on the buckle is facing upwards and that the strap goes through the buckle from the bottom to the top.
  3. Align the mounting bracket with the hanging bracket and securely hang the bird feeder on the tree.

Mount Your Birdfy Feeder Bamboo A Pro on a Pole

  1. Loosen the hose clips by turning the handle counterclockwise. Next, slide the hose clips through the slots of the hanging bracket. Align the bracket with the pole and secure it to the pole by tightening the hose clips.
  2. Align the mounting bracket located at the back of the bird feeder with the hanging bracket, then securely hang the feeder on the pole.

Disassemble and Clean Your Birdfy Feeder Bamboo A Pro

  1. Unscrew the extension perch from the feeder.
  2. Rotate the locks to release and remove the metal seed guard.
  3. Open the front cover and take out the camera.
  4. Push up the metal mesh from the bottom of the feeder and pull it out.
  5. Use a brush and water to clean out any debris or clumped matter.
  6. Dry the feeder thoroughly, then replace the components.

Reboot Your Birdfy Feeder Bamboo A Pro

If your camera goes offline or fails to stream, try the following steps:

  1. Disconnect the camera from the solar panel or charger.
  2. Use the included ejector pin to poke and press the reboot hole for 1 second to shut down the camera completely.
  3. Press and hold the power button for 3 seconds to turn on the camera.
