Adjust the Perch Length

  1. Extend or retract the adjustable perch to your desired length to accommodate different bird species and feeding preferences.

  • Use the drill template and an electric drill (15/64", 6mm) to drill four holes on the wall.
  • Drive the provided plastic anchors into the holes. Skip this step if you are mounting on wood.
  • Fasten the hanging bracket on the wall using the included screws.
  • Hang the feeder onto the wall bracket.

Mount Your Birdfy Feeder Metal 2 4K on a Pole

  1. Loosen the hose clip.
  2. Wrap the hose clip around the hanging bracket.
  3. Attach the hanging bracket to the pole and tighten the hose clip securely.
  4. Hang the feeder onto the pole.

Mount Your Birdfy Feeder Metal 2 4K on a Pole Top

  1. Take the pole-top adapter out of the box and screw it into the pole mounting port at the bottom of the feeder.
  2. Place the feeder on top of a pole. Depending on the pole's diameter, rotate the hand-tightening nut to secure the feeder firmly in place.

  1. Slide the tree strap through the hanging bracket slots.
  2. Wrap the strap around the tree trunk.
  3. Pull the strap tight and secure it in place.
  4. Hang the feeder onto the tree.

Disassemble and Clean Your Birdfy Feeder Metal 2 4K

  1. Remove the camera from the camera compartment and disconnect it from the solar panel.
  2. Seal the solar panel connector with the silicone cover to protect it during cleaning.
  3. Push the roof backward to disengage the magnet.
  4. Remove the seed guard and empty any remaining seeds.
  5. Use a soft brush and water to clean the seed compartment, roof, and seed guard. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive materials.
  6. Allow all parts to dry completely before reassembling.

Tip: Clean your feeder regularly — at least once a month during peak feeding season — to prevent mold and keep birds healthy.


Reboot Your Birdfy Feeder Metal 2 4K

If your camera goes offline or fails to stream, try the following steps:

  1. Disconnect the camera from the solar panel or charger.
  2. Switch the power button from ON to OFF and wait for 3 seconds and switch to ON again.
