Assemble Your Birdfy Nest Polygon

  1. The Birdfy Nest Polygon comes with a pre-installed predator guard. The package also includes two additional predator guards in different sizes. To replace the current guard, simply unscrew it and install the new one. For details on predator guard sizes and the bird species they are suitable for, refer to the Birdhouse Tips.
  2. Connect the remote controller with the camera and the built-in solar panel. Use the included cable organizer to secure any loose cables.
  3. Place the camera into the camera bracket and attach the antenna using the clips.
  4. Use the included rubber band to securely fasten the camera in place.

Use the Remote Camera Controller

  1. Each Birdfy Nest Polygon includes a remote camera controller, designed to let you operate the camera from a distance, minimizing disturbance to birds.
  2. Before mounting the birdhouse outdoors, connect the male connector of the controller to the charging port of the camera.
  3. The controller also features a female connector, which is designed for connecting to the solar panel.
  4. Use the included cable organizer to secure any loose cables.
  5. Once the controller is connected and secured, you can take the birdhouse outside and use the controller to power on/off, reboot, and charge the camera from up to 3 meters away.

Mount Your Birdfy Nest Polygon on a Pole

  1. Loosen the hose clip.
  2. Wrap the hose clip around the bracket.
  3. Attach the bracket to the pole.
  4. Hang the birdhouse on the pole.

Mount Your Birdfy Nest Polygon on a Wall

  1. Use the drill template and an electric drill (15/64", 6mm) to drill four holes.
  2. Drive the provided plastic anchors into the holes. Skip this step if you are mounting on wood. Next, fasten the hanging bracket on the wall using the screws.
  3. Hang the birdhouse on the wall.

Mount Your Birdfy Nest Polygon on a Tree

  1. Slide the strap through the bracket slots.
  2. Wrap the strap around the tree.
  3. Hang the birdhouse on the tree.

Clean Your Birdfy Nest Polygon

  1. Clean your birdhouse at the end of the nesting season.
  2. Open the cleanout door and remove any old nesting materials.
  3. Take out the camera and the metal mesh floor, and scrub the house clean with water and a brush.

Reboot Your Birdfy Nest Polygon

If your camera goes offline or fails to stream, try the following steps:

  1. Disconnect the camera from the solar panel, charger or remote camera controller.
  2. Use the included ejector pin to poke and press the reboot hole for 1 second to shut down the camera completely.
  3. Press and hold the power button for 3 seconds to turn on the camera.
